From the Trenches GETTING RID OF STUFF One way I got rid of stuff when I was moving was posting it on www.craigslist.com. Sold some stuff, like a garden shed. Put other stuff at the curb and then put a "free" ad in. Those things went quickly. I had the satisfaction of (1) getting them out of my life forever, and (2)knowing they would have new life with someone who could appreciate them. A true win/win.
