Put shoes on at the beginning of every day AND put them in the closet at the end of the day.
- No more tripping over them because they are lying on the floor.
- No more limitations like not taking the trash out because "I don't have my shoes on."
- No more shoes sitting in the living room or around the house.

STANDARDS
My new revelation is that as I get less messy my standards have risen. I'm no longer satisfied
with "fewer piles" - I now want NO PILES! I'm no longer satisfied by vacuuming every week - I now want to vacuum whenever there is something messing up my newly beautiful space! I'm no longer satisfied with having ONE room that is presentable to guests - I'm ready to have a whole house ready for anyone - even Mother-In-Law!
And I am actually getting close to that reality!
Thanks for your help and for the realization that part of the work is in raising my standards, not just making one step. And that it doesn't really take much time each day, it just takes consistency.
