Is Fear Paralyzing You?

Is fear paralyzing you?

Barbara was paralyzed with fear. She looked at her house and knew she needed to live better, but was afraid she would make another mistake. She knew, from her own life experiences, that if she started organizing she would get it all wrong again. And Barbara certainly didn't want to make it worse than it already was!

"Mom, I need a towel!"

Like the time she got rid of all of the old towels. Barbara felt great when she dropped all of the old towels off at her local Goodwill store. Intending to go and buy new towels, the phone rang and Barbara got distracted. The next thing she knew she was picking up kids from school, helping with homework, and drawing baths. After the bath Matthew yelled, "Mom, I need a towel!" Barbara froze. She had done it all wrong once again! She gave away the towels *before* buying new ones! Now three children had to bathe, and there were no towels!

"Doing good has gone all wrong again!" Barbara sighed. Would she ever get it right?

Don't be like Barbara... do things in order!

The Organizing Mastery class gave Barbara the confidence, knowledge and skills to be able to start on her organizing journey the right way, once again. She learned that things have to be done in the right order, and that it starts with a plan. She learned that everything has a home within her home, and how to decide where that home should be. Marsha held her hand and guided her to getting her projects done.

Barbara started understanding the process. After awhile she even started enjoying the progress; she began seeing the big picture. Now instead of operating from a position of fear, Barbara was able to conquer her messy house once and for all.
