4. Family Reminder of the Day
In our family, we put up toys, games, tools, and stuff we are using immediately.
In our family, we don't leave things out just because we plan to get back to the project later.
In our family, we wash, dry, fold, and put up our clothes as one continuous job.

NOT HAVING A YARD SALE
My aim is to achieve a level of neatness, organization, simplicity, whatever you want to call it that would allow my family the same dignity.
I hope that I am already making successful steps in that direction. This past weekend was the big flea market in our area and of course I went to it. I bought socks. No toys, books, makeup, cheap jewelry, or other junk, all I bought was socks for my kids. They needed socks (what kid doesn't??) and I got 3 pairs for $1. (Yes they are new!) I did not go to ANY yard sales or thrift shops. I did not go scavvin', as we call it around here.
I did go on freecycle and offer some things which have been claimed. I am not planning on having a yard sale. I think that I can achieve junk freedom more quickly if I simply toss or give the stuff away. My sanity and self-respect are more valuable to me than the few dollars I might get from the hassle of a yard sale. Don't get me wrong. I sure could use those few dollars. I just think that I can more wisely utilize what I have by dejunking.
