Each time you leave the car, check to see if there's something in it that needs to be brought into the house or trash that can be thrown out on your way in!

1. Message of the Day
DEADLY WORDS
Seven words that will kill the order in your home are these,
"I will take care of that soon."
When they are often used, these are the words of a procrastinator and procrastination is poisonous to living an orderly life. It has two traps that will snare us.
Don't fool yourself or let anybody else fool you with these seven deadly words. No words or thoughts substitute for the action of actually rolling up your sleeves and doing the job.
If you can't do it all today, write a list. Choose one from the list. Write a date and hour beside it. Then honor the commitment and check it off.

4. Family Reminder of the Day
In our family, we don't complain about our responsibilities.
In our family, we always flush the toilet immediately.

5. Quote of the Day
It never occurred to me until I had this house to take a vacation and stay home.

7. From the Trenches - A PARTY!
Today was a true test of how far I've come. I had a birthday party at my home that I scheduled at 9am for 1pm the same day. I was home alone with my 3 boys, 6, 4 and 1. Not only did we have the house clean and looking beautiful but I also fixed lunch (in the past it would of been fast food). The sense of peace that has come by facing my "messiness" has been such a blessing. I will Continue to pray for your ministry.
God Bless,
Amy

"I will take care of that soon."
When they are often used, these are the words of a procrastinator and procrastination is poisonous to living an orderly life. It has two traps that will snare us.
- "Soon" gets you off the hook for an indefinite time -- maybe even what turns into a long time. In the meantime, the clutter remains and that is ugly and demoralizing.
- The second snare is that we often think that as long as we have it on our mental list and have voiced a commitment, it is almost as good as done.
