1. Message of the Day - LARGER SELF
"The house is the woman's larger self.” Women have a special personal relationship with their houses. We use it to show our tastes, interests, and personalities.
The problem comes when our house does not match who we want ourselves to be. Nonetheless, rightly or wrongly, each aspect of our home is a reflection to others of who we are. Others relate to you through what they see when they come into your house.
Your surroundings affect you as well. When you live in your orderly, organized, and eventually beautiful house, you feel a sense of completeness and peace you cannot feel when you live in clutter.
One of the most satisfying parts of getting the house under control is that we are then able to creatively express who we really are in the house -- both to others and ourselves.

2. Habit of the Day
Commit for just this one day.
FOLLOW THE RULE OF TEN (AMBIVALENCE BOX THINGS)
Gather ten things you know you should get rid of but don't want to. Put them in an Ambivalence box which you store out of the way. Put a date on the box when you will move it out of the house. You may retrieve an item you must up until that day. On that date, however, the box is forever sealed to you and the box of things is given away.

7. From the Trenches - DISHES
I have taken on the habit of cleaning my dishes NOW. It is really nice not to have them pile up. I really challenge myself in keeping the sink clean. I am very proud of myself for doing this. My kids are even noticing it.
